Day 1: Kigali – Akagera National Park
After an early breakfast, you will be shuttled to Magashi Camp at 07h30. Arrive and proceed to Magashi Camp, assisted in check in and have a lunch. Evening is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day at Magashi Camp plus activities
On this day you will enjoy the park’s activities organized by Magashi Camp. Game drives at the Magashi Peninsular and a boat cruise.

Day 3: Full Day at Magashi Camp plus activities
Yet another day at Magashi Luxury Camp. Choose to participate Behind the Scenes in Akagera.
Have a behind the scenes tour. This tour explains the key partnerships of the park including Law enforcement control room, patrol teams and canine unit ‘dog show.
For guests that are much in to a conservation nerd, Behind the Scenes tour is ideal for you. The behind the scenes experience shares conservational talks, approaches with people managing Akagera National Park.

Day 4: Leave Magashi Camp Akagera – Kigali City Tour
Today after your breakfast, you will be shuttled back to Kigali to meet our driver who will then take for a city tour. Choose to have Lunch first and then start with the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center and Inema arts center. (The overall tour will take about two and a half hours). Highlight; Perhaps the city’s best known landmark, and with good reason, is the very insightful and moving Kigali Genocide Memorial standing amid beautiful rose gardens and fountains
The memorial sets out the history leading up to the genocide in Rwanda and also explains other genocides around the world. It includes poignant displays of victims’ photographs and belongings, bringing the realities of the atrocities to life. While it might seem an unusual tourist attraction and can be upsetting, it does help to put into context how and why the genocide happened and to better appreciate just how far the country has moved on together in the intervening years. It also plays a vital role in educating Rwanda’s new and future generations about the genocide.
Note: For guest that wish compliment Akagera with Volcanoes National Park, after returning from Magashi by shuttle, your guide will then transfer you to Musanze (2.5hrs) for preparations to track Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda. And for those that wish to extend and visit Nyungwe Forests to track Chimpanzee and do a canopy walk, all arrangement can be put in place to fulfill your dream safari staying at One & Only Nyungwe House.
