-Rwanda​ ​Gorilla Tracking.

This takes place in Volcanoes National Park covers an area of over 8,000km², encompassing six active and three extinct volcanoes. There is no other wildlife experience quite like an encounter with mountain gorillas thus among the most popular tourist experiences in Rwanda. That precious hour spent in their company – watching the group playing, sulking, teasing each other, eating, or dozing just like we do – is extraordinary. And the gorilla tracking safaris in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park are among the best in Africa. One must obtain a gorilla trekking permit to be able to track the mountain gorillas. The permit fee is US$ 1500 valid for a day.

-Golden Monkey Trek.

Nyungwe Forest National Park in Rwanda is one of the oldest rain forests in Africa holding over 500 chimpanzee individuals. So far two Chimpanzee troops have been habituated for chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe Forests.

-Canopy Walk.

The Canopy walk in Nyungwe Forest is on this list of adventures in Rwanda. Get to experience the rainforest from a dazzling new perspective – on the famous Canopy Walkway. The only walk of its kind in East Africa, this breathtaking construction hangs 60 metres above the forest floor between giant trees and towers, revealing a stunning view of the flora and fauna, both below and above. The canopy walk in Nyungwe is worth doing. The Starting time of the canopy walk is from 8:00 am/10:00 am​, 7:00 pm or 3:00 pm. For those who are not afraid of heights, this is a great wonder to experience.

-Guided Game Drive.

Take on a guided game drive in Akagera National Park and you will love it.  Visitors get on an African safari experience in beautiful Akagera. Start a guided game drives heading to the northern gate that takes around 6 hours but takes into consideration a few sighting stops on route. Lions are predominantly in the areas of Mutumba, Mihindi, Mohana and Kilala. On a lucky day, you will encounter these kings of the jungle on any of the loops. Remember luck and timing play a significant role in big 5 sightings. You win some, you lose some. A night game safari is also amazing for the opportunity to spot the nocturnal animals when they are active during the night.

-Boat Safaris.

Rwanda offers amazing boat safaris including on Lake Ihema, Lake Rwanyakazinga both found in Akagera National park. You will get absolutely amazed while on a boat cruise in Akagera National park with the density of aquatic life including the hippos, Nile crocodiles and spectacular birds.
