A day trip to Akagera National Park involves getting picked up by your safari drivers from your Hotel or any other place of residence in Kigali at 04:30 am, then embarking on the two-and-a-half to three hours journey to this 1122-square-kilometer safari destination found in the Eastern part of Rwanda, bordering Tanzania. By leaving early, you will be able to arrive on time for a morning game drive to see the big five animals- Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Rhinos, and Elephants), Masai giraffes, warthogs, waterbucks, bushbucks, Topis, Duikers, giant elands, spotted hyenas, and so much more.
