Here is why you MUST visit Akagera National Park. Akagera National Park is open to day visitors from 6 am to 6 pm daily. Please sure you have exited the park before 6 pm. Overnight visitors must be at their accommodation facility by 6 pm unless they are conducting a night game drive activity operated by the Park management.

Toilets are available at Muyumbu, Shakani, and Mutumba campsites, the Lake Mihindii Picnic area, the reception, and the Nyungwe exit gate in the north. All visitors are advised to carry with them all their rubbish out of the park. Book Now
